The details

A DJ who runs the room, not just the playlist

The difference between a good reception and a dead one is rarely the song list. It's whoever is reading the floor and moving the night along.

Every iRock wedding DJ is also an MC. They handle the grand entrance, the toasts, the parent dances and the cake cutting, and they keep your planner and photographer in the loop so nobody misses a moment. When a song isn't landing, they change it — that judgement is what you're actually hiring.

Planning starts long before the date. Our portal lets you map music to each part of the day — processional, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing — with do-not-play lists and specific requests, so nothing rests on a hallway conversation. Couples mention it by name in reviews more than almost anything else we do.

Orlando weddings are rarely single-culture, and our DJs build sets to match. We regularly run receptions that move between Latin, Brazilian, Caribbean, Motown, country, top 40 and EDM without the floor emptying, and several of our MCs deliver announcements in both Spanish and English.

Because we own our lighting, effects, floors and booths, the reception can grow with one contract instead of five vendors. Add uplighting to warm the room, a saxophone or percussionist layered over the DJ set for cocktail hour, cold sparks for the first dance, or a dance floor that changes colour beneath you.

Verbatim reviews from couples and event planners we've worked with.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ team for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The music selection was flawless—from the ceremony to cocktail hour and especially the reception. They kept the energy up all night and had our guests on the dance floor nonstop. The photobooth and cold sparklers were a crowd favorite and made our event feel special and unique.

You need iRock and DJ Sebastian at your wedding/event!! Sebastian cares not only about the music, but also the sound quality and creativity of your DJ experience. He also brought CO2 cannons which were a true hit with the crowd, and lighting technicians that kept the vibe of the room going. iRock is not just a DJ company - it's a full blown party organization that cares about making your event memorable. 10/10 experience!!!!!

No words will ever be able to describe how amazing my experience was with iRock Your Party. Ever since booking them, throughout the months planning the wedding, all the meetings, emails, the actual wedding, everything was perfect. I booked them for my cocktail hour and reception, and also LED panels (which btw is a must). Everyone left saying it was the best party they had ever been to.

Our DJ and MC were absolutely incredible! They had a lot of unique challenges to work with—ranging from Brazilian music to disco, and even some Blink 182—and they handled everything flawlessly. I also added the uplighting package, and I'm so glad I did—it completely transformed the space and made everything feel even more magical.

I truly cannot say enough good things about iRock Your Party and Sebastian. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and made sure he understood our vision for the wedding day. They provided music for pre-ceremony, ceremony, dinner and reception and they also provided microphones, TV screens on the dance floor and other extras. They CRUSHED IT!

Joshua and I had DJ Sebastian at our wedding, but we also had the sax, a violinist, robots, led dancers, cold sparks, co2, and dancing on the cloud throughout the day as well. The entire team was professional and on time for our wedding, they even made sure they packed up within the time that was instructed by the venue. My advice is to BOOK IROCK YOUR PARTY, they will not disappoint.

Questions

Wedding DJ questions, answered

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Orlando?
It depends on hours, how many spaces need sound and what lighting or effects you add. A reception-only package with one DJ/MC, dance floor lighting and the planning portal sits at the lower end; full lighting design, live musicians and special effects push it higher. Send us your date and venue and we'll come back very quickly with real numbers rather than a range.
Do you MC as well as DJ?
Yes — every DJ on our roster is also an MC. Introductions, toasts, parent dances and cake cutting are all handled, and we coordinate with your planner and photographer so the timeline actually holds.
Can we choose the music ourselves?
Absolutely. Our planning portal lets you map specific songs to the processional, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, plus a do-not-play list. Most couples pick the must-plays and leave the rest of the floor to the DJ — that mix works best.
Do you cover the ceremony as well as the reception?
Yes. We provide separate sound for the ceremony space including lapel or handheld microphones for your officiant and readers, then cocktail hour, then the reception. Outdoor ceremonies get their own system so vows are audible over wind and traffic.
Can you add live musicians to the DJ set?
That's our fusion setup. A saxophonist, trumpeter, conga or bongo player, violinist, drummer or guitarist performs live over the DJ's mix. You can add a single musician for cocktail hour or build out a four to six piece band for the reception.
How far in advance should we book a wedding DJ?
Peak Orlando Saturdays book furthest ahead, so earlier is better. That said, we run multiple crews — it's always worth asking about your date even at short notice, because we often have availability when a single-DJ operation doesn't.

Let's check your wedding date.

Send us the date and venue. We'll tell you straight away whether we can cover it and exactly what your reception would cost.
